Just in case that video wasn’t enough to get you going… I found this great quote from a surf film, Castles In The Sky, (even if you don’t surf it is an amazingly inspirational film) that gives me chills every time I read it.
“There was once a man who become unstuck in the world--he took the wind for a map, he took the sky for a clock, and he set off for no destination. He was never lost.” - Castles In The Sky
The images are just fun to look at. :)
There are no words to describe my love affair with everything Cartier… They make some of the most amazing and timeless pieces of jewelry on the planet.
If you had any doubt, which I can’t imagine anyone would, watch this video and start your own love affair… I promise you it is one you will never forget.
Some divine dresses walked down the red carpet at the 2012 Oscars. Everyone truly looked spectacular, but I do have a few dresses that I think were absolutely breathtaking…
Michelle Williams in a red poppy colored Louis Vuitton, Rooney Mara in a gorgeous white Givenchy Couture gown, and my absolute favorite Gwyneth Paltrow in an elegant white Tom Ford gown, truly stunning!

The European porcelain manufacturer Herend has been around since the 1800’s creating magnificent dinnerware.
Dinned on by Queen Victoria, and making their debut in the states at the World’s Fair in 1853, their collection now spans the globe with home accessories and figurines.
My favorite pieces from Herend are the hand painted figurines with their famous fishnet design. I started collecting them when I was younger and I just can’t get enough of them. Amazing talent has gone into each and every one.
I love so many of them but I think my next will have to be the black skull or the majestic giraffe…. decisions decisions…
